Where to find Salvaged snowmos?

I'm trying to buy my 07 ski-doo back from the insurance company and they said if I can find other "salvaged" sleds and the price they go for they should be able to lower the buy back price. So if anybody knows of an ads, or links to a wrecked
2007 Ski-Doo Rev 151 800r for under 2250.

Please let me know.
It has to be the same year/make/model.
Thank You
brahm

What Insurance company are you dealing with? When I was dealing with a totaled sled the insurance company went to three different salvage yards in my area (auto/motorcycle salvage) and got quotes from all of them. Then the took the average and offered it to me for that price.

It was an 04 efi 900 mt cat that was three months old. Sled new was 7900 and salvage buy back was 750. It cost me another 2400 and that was fixing it back to 100%. Rode the sled for 5000 miles and sold it for 4200.00. Still know the person that bought it and it has ran great sense he purchased it.

I'm surprised that the insurance company doesn't deal with salvage yards in the area.

Good luck...

There aren't really any salvage yards in the area, I'm kinda in BFE. They are offering it back to me for 2215. (07 Summit Rev 800r 151).. The tunnel needs to be straightened but it isn't cracked, outside of that I just need some new plastic, handle bars and a couple hours to re-wire the bars.. I figure I'll straighten it the best I can, and ride it out this year and over the summer I'll do a tunnel swap..

Haha, here I am all pouty, after we pulled it out of the BC lol.. You can see the crease in the tunnel, right by the 151 sticker. http://www.pbase.com/brahm/image/106196577/original.jpg
