BTW the hoods come with the lights closed in....you have too cut them out if wanted open.

I believe Carbon Daddy makes very similar hoods to Alpines. Would like to try one, his should fit.

Is carbon daddy's hood any cheaper, those alpines are crazy expensive and quality isnt there IMO.

murry at mount mod makes a great hood great quality but not cheap.

Yeah i had a mountain mod last year and it was a nice hood,no complaints whatsoever. I just need a longer one to cover where the key and accessorie plug is now. And yes, i find the alpine hoods cheezy, this is my opinion.

Thanks guys, if Dave doesn't have what I need I will contact Murray @ Mountain Mod as I have bought RX-1 hoods from him before and his quality was great. Also I checked with Carbondaddy and he only has the normal stock portion of the hoods, headlight pod not included. Thanks guys!

I got a lexan hood from my local dealer and really like it. I rolled the sled over and it didnt break! You could cut it out to make it look like that one if you wanted. From the looking around I did the price was good. 780-849-5526

use2bedoo, dont get all butt hurt buddy. I have been on here for over 7 years, and ty for maybe a year. I know your in bed with alpine so just settle down, not all their stuff is the best. I ride an alpine turbo too so dont get to sensitive on me.

tapex have u painted it yet? if u do make sure u/they use the right paint or it will become brittle, there strong as hell unpainted. how much they worth?
