Looking at coming to the UP from PA to do some riding, wheres the good snow at right now? Anything on the lower part of the U.P? thanks

We were looking at the ST.Ignace area but remembered there wasnt much off trail stuff there. I quickly searched online and it doesnt look like any area is with in a 12 hour drive was real good. Im open to suggestions if you know of anything.

right now the conditions pretty much suck, trails are slimy, off trail we have no frost so the snow is melting from the bottom and currently we are getting rain so what is there is getting real rotten. I would hold off on a trip up here until we get some more snow. If you are looking for good backcountry look up to the keewenaw or near munising,chatham area... sands plains could be decent if we get another good snow storm just remember houghton is the closest to riding in the mountains you will find in the midwest... Im praying for some 10 degree days to freeze the base and then the lake machine can turn on and dump 24+" of nice fresh white stuff

Thanks seems like we all need some new snow. We had over 4' in week then nothing. Its was fun while it lasted.

Were is a good place to go with 11 yr old? I do not want to drive to U.P. Any thoughts.
