Where is Widow Maker in the Snowys?

Can anyone tell me where the Widow Maker is located at in the Snowys?

I went out there for the first last season but for the life of me cannot figure out where it is on a map.

We'll be staying at Mountain Meadow Cabins. I'm thinking Widow Maker is over off of trail N somewhere.. If anyone could show me on a map how to get there I'd appreciate it!

several easy ways to get there. Are you looking at the trails map?

I never realized there was a lake at the bottom of it!

No, I don't know which trail I need to be on or where to jump off the trail if need be.

take a right out of Mountain meadow cabins on "O" trail; your heading north...., 1/2 mile or so before you get to "NO" angle off to the southwest you can see widow on a clear day,,, boondock on over there...., or get on "NO" and look for the rollercoaster (not marked) on your left that will lead you to the widow. If it hasn't snowed for a few days you could follow the beat down path. explore! you'll learn

Another description - the widowmaker is east side of the big range which makes up Medicine bow peak.

The bottom of Widow is North Gap Lake. The roller coaster/chute is right next to it.

If you are heading to the widow from the hwy trail, Browns peak will be on your right and the huge peaks will be right in front of you.

You angle off to the right thru Libby Creek and make your way toward south gap lake.

South Gap and North Gap are separated by a saddle that is usually rideable.

As you head toward the saddle, Browns peak will be the big mtn on the right and on your left is Med Bow Peak cliffs.

Rabbit Ears and Buff pass are both sitting at about the same levels as the Snowy's, good luck!

We always have room for the wild man, a little bird told me you went over Widow maker when you were 13 ?? We're leaving the 26th if they get some snow this week, may see ya out west, Merry Christmas
