Last Satruday it was still the bottom lot and there was snow on the road with just a few bare spot up to the bridge.

It is the lowest I've seen it this time of year in the 18 or so years I've been riding there. The snow has stayed intact down at the lower elevations this year better than it did when we had the record snowfall. There was 10-12' at the dam two weeks ago.

Ahhh..... In a perfect world. I think what we'll find is once it really starts to melt, the snow line will travel up the hill like wild fire.
Either way it will be much later than in years past! I'm hoping for a 4th of July ride!!

Tell me you have a short cut so I don't have to kill myself on that longars trail and we'll come visit. I'll even cook breakfast this time.

Actually, I was coming down yesterday doing the Ricky Carmichael, and t-boned the front side of a huge whoop and came so close to an endo at 35 MPH!!!! Needless to say, I slowed down.
If anybody left a 99 powder special up there above the horse barn last December. It's starting to show itself.
