Hey guys, as the title states, where the heck is it. The only thing that looks like the capacitor is beside the ecu, and the voltage regulator, mounted on the side of the tunnel. It's a black box that says it's the CD ignition. Is that the capacitor?? Thanks guys.

My flux capacitor is on the handlebars. Also commonly known as the throttle. Kicks in at 88 MPH!!!! Just kidding, it is located in font of the gas tank and has a red/white wire (pos) and a brown wire (neg). It makes the chassis side power stable. Without the capacitor in the system the unit will not run correctly at idle. Thats out of the 05 deep powder manual. There is a proceedure to check it, let me know if you need it and I'll send it to you.

yes that is the capacitor

Thanks guys. Kinda what I thought. Happy tinkering. Bruce, I'm going to swap that capacitor out like you suggested. See if that makes a difference on my battery gauge meter like it did on your brothers. Anybody got one of these kicking around??
Thanks!

Was your battery gauge blinking/flashing low when starting the 9 then charge up after a bit? If so did the capacitor fix this? Just trying to pinpoint my problem.
