where is all the coolant comming from

09 gade 800 leaked coolant 3 times from under the seat and under the motor some where, i know i am not the only skidoo out there that this is happening to what is going on and how to fix this thing 750 miles only does it once in a while, i ve heard the clamps are the wrong sizes is there any truth to this... MY dealer has no clue .. Presure tested it for 2 days nothing came out... i guess i ll ride her till it blows

pull your air box check the T fitting that goes into your cooler under the seat thats were mine was leaking..

ya i work at a ski-doo dealership and it useally the fittings that go to the rear cooler, some of the clamps that get put on are a couple mm to big or there off kilter. i think they just came out with a bulliten on it so if you bring it to your dealer i think theyll know what to do, or you could do it yourself and just use hose clamps.

It's the SH!TTY click fit hose clamp Doo Doo decided to use in some spots.

I had the same deal, sled would get hot, coolant running off my skid plate. Looked for the leak, couldnt find sh!t. Pressure test, no leak down, no pressure change, no leak. Let it run for 10 min, coolant coming off the skid plate yet no sign of where it was coming from. I took a guess, took Doo's junky clamp off the hose that connects to the front cooler. (Behind recoil towards the tunnel, just below the ECU). A slight twist with the screwdriver and off it came. Replaced with a screw type hose clamp, problem solved !!! It was tricky to find because there is a secondary aluminum cover over the cooler and the coolant would slip behind there and run down behind it leaving no visual signs.

I would look first at any of those sh!tty clamps and leaking or not, just replace them. I did and 4 rides later all is well.

Mine is running from the bottom hose on the coolant bottle. Only when it' cooling off.
