Where is a cheap place to get wall tents?

The kind that you'd use for hunting camp.

It can be used, I don't care, I just need one cheap.

Something perhaps 8x12 or so ...

main thing is it needs to be cheap and usable, I don't want it to have the **** kicked out of it so bad I can't set it up, but it can be used.

Army/navy surplus may have new ones... they have good prices on camping equipment. Store's fun to shop in too, they have some badass stuff in there.

hard to beat the alaknak 12x12. its all there frame and floor....plus it's actually water proof and has a floor.

how about one of those one car garages from costco?? A friend of mine has one and modified the roof to take a chimney and it works awesome... hundred bucks (ish)

Depends what you want. Material ect. Do you want a frame, or will you use a pole A frame. There is a shop in Bozeman that makes tents i belive.

Or, do like I did. Wait for a outfitter to go out of business and buy all his tents.

A bit of a drive for you but Smith and Edwards in North Ogden has surplus army tents that are rediculously strong. I havent really looked at them much for a price but they have one on the floor thats big enough a family could live in it after a disaster or something like that.

if you are planning a winter camp (say for the 4m ride), don't bother with a tent. Build a snow cave. You'll be much, much warmer at night, though you won't be able to use a stove in it or anything like that...

hi, i build hunting tents and tipis and some have stovejacks in them. they come in all sizes and are very affordable for what you get with them.
