I rebuilt my GF motor and I am putting this sled back together and I can't find a home for this connector. A little help please

Also there is a air bubble in the oil line coming off the oil tank is there a bleed for the oil pump or should I not be worried about it?

as far as the air bubble.... Yes, you want to get it out of the line.
Try tipping the sled to the right side and leave it there for a while. Try to work the bubble up and out the tank.

Idk if this will work bit I was thinking maybe putting a syringeand trying to fill the line up with oil? Idk just was one idea of getting that air bubble out.

I think.its crazy that there's no way of bleeding the oil line down.

add premix to your first tank, oil line will self bleed the oil in the fuel tank will compensate for irregular oil delivery caused by bubbles.

I'm pretty sure there's a bleeder screw on the oil pump. My 96 xcr and my 06 900 had bleeders on the mikuni oil pumps.

My sleds all together but I think I see the bleeder. 6mm bolt (10mm wrench) on the mag side of the actuator arm.

At idle, take a wire and hook the oil pump "arm" and lift it to "wide open". This will pump max oil in at lowest rpm. Keep the arm lifted up until the air bubble is gone.

If you get the bubble out it will be gone until you ride it once. I got the air bubble out of my oil line twice on my pro and it would always come back, it is the way the oil line is routed. I rode it for three years that way with zero problems, I would not worry about it just make sure it uses oil.

I will try some of your techniques. If I can get it I will just per mix the gas. That should be good enough I'd say

.....

Bleed your pump.
Guys have seen increased oil useage after bleeding the bubble out.
Loosen the 10 mm head bolt let it run out thru the belly pan for 5 min.
Cheap investment for motor life.

Could you share some pictures of this bolt? I am unable to see any bolt at all.

That is the diagnostic plug, it stays disconnected. As far as the bubble goes, the easiest way I've found to get it out is the I strap the oil bottle, hold it up so the oil line is strut up to it and flick it a bunch, almost as if to vibrate the oil line. You'll see the bubble start to walk up, then disappear I to the fitting, keep doing it for a little bit more to ensure it came out the fitting and call it good.

looks like it might be for the injectors...
Its hard to tell from the pics, but those wires are yellow and look to be the same color as the ones in your pic. I don't see another plug similar to that. I have more pics on my other phone at home so if there is a similar plug I can't see it at time of posting.

nobody else takes pictures when they take stuff apart huh

Actually if you just disconnect the line from the fitting, hold finger over fitting, bubble will come up line and then just drizzle oil from the fitting into the line filling all the way before connecting. 100% foolproof as the other methods can still have the bubble in the fitting (which you can't squeeze out).

Have FUN!
