I just purchased an XD-40 and I am planning on carrying it while I ride. Where do you carry your pistol and what brand holster do you use?

In my left hand
have many different hostlers.. but prefer the paddle holster the best for CC.. I used to carry it all the time.. however now I'm in sales and dont want it to detour a sale on the site of a firearm.. but usually carry it when not at work
I carry a big stick, have to work harder to get the results but its worth it.

I like to carry my Colt Compact in a fanny pack when hiking and/or camping.
Never have done the conceal carry around town. I dont even pack it along in the car on trips.

I just use a firm nylon holster, and usually store it somewhere off the bottom of my backpack and where it won't move around!
depends on where im going. I have a hard holster i use on my belt for normal everyday stuff. but while riding I have used a cordura shoulder holster for quick access- never know when you might have a big cat or dog think you might make a good snack.

The Big Front pouch on my pullover. I believe that you should never go anywhere w/out a gun.
well on the old edge chassis used to mount a cut-up plastic case to inside of the hood right over the clutch guard for my 300 ultramag..then cut a hole thru the console right next to the pull start for my 454 casull..in a nylon holster that rivited to the hoop....on my dragon am still looking but both guns will be on it for spring bear hunt..figure the casull will be mounted on the riser and a different boot for the rifle will be on the tunnel somehow....
