Blew crank in my 02 800, tore case up too, have rebuilt crank w/big bearing ordered. Any info on where to get a new crankcase for the least $ would be very helpful!

nap96- you might try ebay I have seen cases on there-also if you go with a big bearing
on the crank you have to mod the case to fit it in there-they also open the oil ports for more oil flow-one other thing to think about if you pay all this money to get your machine right you should have your clutch balanced and your run out check(justmy 2cents) good luck I just did all that stuff done a year ago and Sat mine went down with a magside rod bearing failure(guess I can't buy luck)

If you buy a set of used cases, you will still want to send them to a good machine shop and have the tolerances check and line bored. This is what takes the cranks out in the first place. Odds are, your cases are usable if you have them check and worked over.
I have a set. The PO told me it's already machined for the big bearing. I wanted a spare bottom end, but gonna sell my 800 & get something new....PM me
Thanks guys, the place I bought my crank just got in a good used case and are line boring and machining it for my crank. Now I need to send my clutch in for balance so I dont have to do this all over again in 200 miles!
