Probably all in the nursing home.
pension couldn't cover the membership cost and moved on elsewhere

Thats funny, actually my first experience with these forums was a few years back so it seems the same to me.
I have heard some went to some other forum, BCR I think. I went there once to see what the rave was about but I could not stand the color scheme, my eyes are still hurting, other than that it wasn't bad I guess, of course I dont see anything wrong with this place so why move on.
As far as I know this is the best sledding forum I know of. I have searched some others but they either seem like they are more back east oriented or are difficult to navigate. Besides I have a hard enough time keeping up with two forums, here and thumpertalk so there is no way I could go to another forum and actually get something done.
It does seem like more are coming back though after the initial sourness due to the paid membership. Also seems like a lot less people are making trouble than there used to be. I am now kinda hoping thumpertalk takes the same route, then some of those trolls may up and move as well.

I tried to start one of those facebook accounts and I dont get it, and I am VERY computer savvy but I still dont get it. There is a very limited amount of things you can do and a forum or a phone call or txt would work much better. I think it is one of those follow the crowed things and I have always been one to make my own decisions not just do what everyone else is doing.
So if someone would like to explain to me what makes facebook so great then I will listen.

The great thing about facebook is when you don't have an account and you go to a wedding and have a good time. Then people at work on Monday come up to you and say "looks like you were having a good time at so and so's wedding" "how were you feeling the next day?" "I saw pictures of you on so and so's facebook page".
Pretty awesome, huh? facebook is destructive. I hate it.

I'm not gonna pay, but snowest works fine, so does backcountryrebels, who give a crap. I'll still complain if stupid things get done, but I'd do the same on a free forum too.
Btw, for me, the only allure to gaybook is the REALLY EASY ability to upload pics, and being able to see who the people I know on here actually are for real. I think about 50 of my friends on there are ones I know from here.
A forum is a great place for debate or technical discussion of a more specific area, but gaybook is just a place to see what folks are up to.

Aparantly you give a crap about something!! I aint complainin or bitter at all, just sayin that this place is better now in my opinion. Opinions are like butt holes everyone has one. I come on here for sleddin and some light hearted stuff. Don't pay if you like, you don't have to. The rest of us will carry you. I like this place so I pay.
