Who has the longest riding season? BC? My last ride here in WA state this year was July 12th... I'm itching for winter.

its mostly about places with good road access to alpine. plenty of times there is snow, you just cant get to whats left. so very much mtn range specific. cooke city is always good for nov-july. which seems like most places average max season.

Yup, all of the west has spots. Colorado does, even have a place called 4th of July bowl. Pretty sure the forest service would flip out if people got to dragging sleds up to the left overs.

Just seems like WA does better on leftovers than other States.

And sure Alaska does as well, with a 20k mountain, but holy sheep dip on access!

We rode 11 months this past year. Started in September last year and rode till July 5th this past summer.

11 months on the snow in the lower 48.....not to bad.

Someone on here posted pics of riding in the beartooths on Aug 1. Don't believe it was much but they have pics posted on the Montana forum. Actually snowing up there now.

stewart bc 9-10 months of riding on average, 60+ ft of snow at elevation on average:face-icon-small-sho,oh did i mention no crowds:faint::jaw::face-icon-small-hap

The Bridger Bowl pic was legit. You don't expect that dusting of snow to stick around when it gets back up to 60 degrees the next day.

If a guy really wants to....it's definitely possible to ride from october to July here. I'm more of a Christmas to May guy myself....one early season road ride and a couple late season crust/slush rides are enough. This year my last ride was the middle of May and it was 2 feet of fresh and a 10 foot base up top. I've always ran out of interest before we run out of snow.
