Hell yes I butcher it myself, why the hell would I want a goddamn meat locker to butcher my meat :face-icon-small-dis once you get it back you dont know what you got, could be deer, antelope, elk, buffalo, Sheep. If ya cant butcher your own meat ya need to learn how, if you do it to be lazy, well, you get what you get :D

Nah man I do my own, always have, thats the only way TO do it. Plus they dont do a very good job, and usually tastes like crap :) So keep that in mind if you down an elk or deer or anything, bring it by my house Jesse, ill butcher it for ya :eek:

Elk Meat

There are Elk farms in MN that sell the meat, do not have the address but Google could probably send you to the site!
Shot a bull this fall in WY, it sure is good meat, and good for you, no colerstrol.

I can sell you my elk that I shot this year. Professionally cut and wrapped
I don't know about Montana, but I know for a fact its illegal to sell personally harvested game animals in the state of Wyoming. You can give it as a "gift" but can't have any way to trace money back to the meat :)

Or so I was told by several different game wardens :D

edit: as I sit here munching on some oh so delicious antelope :beer;

yup.... ask some of the guys that were in jellystone.. i brought about 15 pounds of fresh florida shrimp.. as well as a small stash of stone crab claws... :face-icon-small-win

My family had a great friend that lived in Lousiana and he would come up every fall to Idaho to go deer and elk hunting with us. Every year he would bring up a different type of "native food" and cook it up cajun style. Over the years we had crawfish, alligator tails, frog legs as well as the standard shrimp and crab dishes. Ahh, good times and good eats. Unfortunately, he died back in 99.

Supplicate- I am not sure of that law but i appreciate you bringing it to my attention. I should have said I can "gift" some :)

In Minnesota you have to "gift" the meat, but you can charge for the processing. So make sure any money that changes hands is for shipping and handling.
