Twisted turbo

I was riding with a buddy of mine with a m1200 twisted turbo this year. We went up to Revy and met Shane from Twisted Turbo. My buddy was trying to get some help from Shane to tune his sled because after blowing it up numerous times he still couldn't make it run right and stay running. Shane was having a bad day. I think he was riding a m8 which seized up on the trail up to boulder. He also had a turboed pro up there as well. They could not make it work either. It was crapping out all after noon. He then never even offered to try to take a look at my buddies sled. We then left his group and went riding on our own and had to try to figure it out on our own. After traveling all that way and to see the results of his abilities I would suggest keep looking. That is just my opinion of what I have seen. After talking to some of the locals in Sicamous and Kellowna that also build turboed mod sleds they all seem to have the same opinion as mine. Good luck.

I know of 2 people with his kit on their Pro's and they have had some troubles getting the kit to work this year. They did get the kit working pretty well but it took a lot of their time and even more $$$$ to make it work right.
I can't speak for them but I don't think they are real happy.

2 kits I would look at .. The BD and the Silber!!

dude I have never had a bad day in revy I have broke lots of sleds there though it is a great place to test but as for your buddy that has blown up a 1200 thats not true as if anyone asks me to look at a problem I do it and no one asked me too. I only know one guy that broke his 1200 with cyclenders from an asperated 1200 that I advised him to not use ended up selling him one of my 1200 kits and he has not had a problem sence. If it is mark you are talking about I didnt need to look at his sled as I had gone over it with a fine tooth comb at the first of the season didnt ask for 1 sent for my time I watched the sled go up the mountain and listened to it and it ran great.alot better than the pro I was riding first trip to revy with it.
Im sorry I left a bad taste in your mouth but mark was grining when he left me.

for more info on the pro kit and the delelopement of our kit feel free to call me 801 668 6344 Shain.

i have been watching the kit you did on cam hicks main jet sled i want a kit that runs like that. his runs good from the movies. what do you have to do to the sled, head, oil injection delete, etc

cams sled has no head work and it has the oil injection still, that is an option on the kit. I have not tryed a cut head on the pro yet, im likeing it with the stock head, it seems to be real easy on plugs even at high boost, I got the boost on mine up to 15 right now and it has been there for the last 3 rides no problems except it started to eat belts if I dont let the clutches cool Im going to try some diffrent stuff this weekend at fairview.

okay i work at a dealership and was wanting to try something different we sell bd kits and silbers and aerochargers and they all work good, what does your kit cost a kit like cams

are you adding any extra injectors or fuel rail in your kit, do you have a intercoolor built up for it yet,

I haven't seen a twisted kit on a Polaris, however I've been with many twisted cats and all of them but one ran excellent. The one sled that didn't perform well had an idiot riding it. I've been very impressed with Twisted kit's. I've ride a OVS TM8 and I'd like to add a twisted M1000 to the fleet in the future.

I've seen twisted's sleds perform and they take a backseat to no-one!

I emailed Shane about a kit for the Pro I bought way back in January... still haven't heard from him. And from the sounds of it, I'm glad I didn't.

My buddy just had Shain install his turbo kit, a drop and roll, 3" 174 cammo extreme, K-mod rear suspension and a few other things. 2011 Pro RMK. I have never personally bought anything from Shain "yet", but would not hesitate to do business with him in the future. I have had troubles with my stuff in the past [non twisted turbo stuff]and Shain has answered all of my calls and did the best he could I felt over the phone.

Shain also let my buddy ride his personal sled [2011 pro rmk] before he bought the kit. That was all it took. Shain met a couple of other customers at the hill to help them tune their sled. My buddy said Shain showed the guy what to do so he could do it himself in the future if he needed to. The customer had his sled up and running "unbelieveable" according to my buddy, in just a few minutes.

In my opinion I don't know what else a guy could do to prove he is comitted to his customers and product.
