Where are all the Colorado CMX owners???

I bought my CMX at last seasons swap meet in Denver, it was one of two for sale there. When I went to get it registered, the registration lady said that there were 23 other CMX's registered in Colorado. So my question is, where are they? Being in the snowmobile culture, you see and meet all kinds of snowmobilers and their sleds all year long, but I have yet to see or meet another person that owns a CMX. Is there anybody out there that is getting theirs ready for the season like I am?? I'd like to have a CMX thread so we could all get some questions answered and help each other out... :noidea:

I've never seen a single CMX on the hill before, but I've always been curious how those sleds ride and handle.

I've seen some of the older Edge chassis CMX sleds out there. I really doubt there are 23 Pro chassis sleds but I could be wrong.

I've only seen one, it was running around Irwin Lodge about ten years ago. Cool sled based off of the edge chassis.

I know a guy that has one, he got it last year brand new. He usually rides the flattops. The sled is flat out amazing.

Well I think that the people that can afford a $44k sled don't worry about how much they're spending on it, (or it's insurance!). I'm the second owner of mine, the first owner liked it so much that he bought two CMX's at the same time. He decided to get an extra kevlar/ carbon fiber hood for mine and had a $3500 paint job put on it, in addition to autographed custom murals on the sides of the hood that were painted by that guy that paints the NHL helmets....

5-6 yrs ago @ Togwotee a guy had one. Everyone said it ripped but all we saw was his backpack. Due to being constantly bent over the sled with the hood up!

Now in all fairness, maybe he wasn't the wrench he needed to be to own that level of sled. I heard that when tuned in......they will make a man smile.

On the insurance note..........don't know but if they would cover, the monthly is going to be larger that what I pay.

Can you post a picture of your CMX as I've never seen a $40k sled and I want to know what that kind of money gets a guy...:face-icon-small-coo

When I first read how much CMX sleds were I about sh!t...now realizing I have almost 30k into mine with no aftermarket rear skid, Im kind of going into a depressed state of mind...until I get to ride it:face-icon-small-ton

Thanks man! Hope your recovery is going well:)

I think I'll take 3 new stock pros in the trailer instead of 1 of those...but to each their own!

I saw one years ago on RE. But it still had trailing arms. I have seen more Mountain Horses.
