When does your season start?

Im from Edmoton alberta Canada, and we usually start riding in Revelstoke about mid-november sometimes earlier. I bought a sled out of Preston and I will be coming down to get it and would like to ride it while Im down there, just not sure how long I can wait. When would be a good bet for some early season riding? Thanks in advance for any info.

I live 6 miles from Preston, I have rode as early as Thanksgiving in 2008. Last year was around mid Dec. I could have gone earlier but waited for more snow so I didn't hit a tree stump or rock. My best guess is Early December around Preston, but hopefully a lot sooner. Time will tell.

Thanks hillclimbr, we were thinking december 12th, so by the sounds of it that should be fine. I cant believe that is 82 days 2 hours 30 minutes away! its killing me!
