you allways hear about these 500 lb sleds but what do they really weigh full of fuel,oil and gear. Ive got a 03 poalris vertical 800 single pipe and can, boss seat. float shocks, pro x hood, powder pros, 159 ported track 590 lbs

My 07 M8 162 was 533 ready to ride last year. I think that I will be closer to 520 this year. With no gas or oil last year was 448lbs and I am thinking 435lbs.

03 800 VES, crank shop twin pipes and can, c/a pro skis, protaper bars, 3" riser, gutted boss seat, MMP 8” billet wheels, K&N air filters, full oil tank and half tank of fuel.
421 pounds with no rear skid, primary, secondary, and i added a 151" rails and 151" track
Track (went from standard 121 fully clipped with studs and screws to a ported, all the windows cut out 151 with screws in every other lug
+15-20 pounds
Clutches + 10 pounds
Rear sus +40
So it should be around 500-520 filled up and ready to go. Im about 190-200 when i am dressed up and i guestimate about 150-160 Hp at the crank so i think i am at about 4.58 Hp-pound. Not bad considering i only have $8000-$9000 in the sled no counting my time!

well. my 04 edge is sooooo light i have to tie down the front and the back after i load it on my deck. lol sorry couldnt resist
How many pounds are you saving by porting your tracks? Or is it just a lubrication thing?
has anyone found the real weight of sled and sat on it when weighing it?? Then you would know how much that sled is hauling around. I also herd you have to have a fork lift and winch to get a cat unstuck..

unless you have some serious light weight stuff on your sled i call BS, i weighed my sled on a scale that goes to the .1 of a lb and it was 538 w/ a half tank a gas

my yammi weighs a ton,but it comes in handy at the end of the day towing the doos out
495 dry
have 09 m-1000, 162 sno-pro, all fluids filled to top, tool kit (stock), stock seat....580 lbs....also have 09 d-8, 163, stock, all fluids topped off...577 lbs.....weighed on digital hanging scale, from the handlebars...
