Whats your octane vs. Boost vs. elevation

I hear alot of different ideas. Whats a safe boost level for 92 non eth pump?
I am running 10# at 3500-6000' with a blend of 50/50 110 and 92 thus 101 octane. Whats working for you?

MM

I run straight av. Boost depends on elevation but 10-12# 8-10000 ft.
Could probably run a blend of av and 91 but its easier to run straight av and its cheap insurance

100 ll av @8# boost. 8k-10k elevation. Adding 1oz oil per gallon to"grease up" the dry AV gas. Plugs are cheap compared to a top end.

Straight 98 RON pump gas fuel, elevation 1500-4000ft, boost at 6psi, Boondocker non intercooled kit.

Straight AV at 4-7K on a BD non intercooled kit at 10 psi. I'm either going to turn up the boost or back off my mixture to save some fuel money.....who am I kidding, I'll boost it up :D

0-2000ft, Straight 100LL, 10-12 psi boost
12 Silber
PAR 12.5 head
Lots of WOT, no det so far....

Thinking i need to get a high compression head for my elevation and the straight av.

If you are wanting to run straight 100ll (like I do, I hate the inconsistency of blending fuels), I would recommend upping your comp to get that low end snap back and be able to run that fuel to its optimum ability. Heck I am running at sealevel with a higher comp head than stock and still pushing 10-12# no problem! I even tried mixing some 87 octane on a couple rides with no det on 10#.

Yep. Thinking i will. didnt realize you low elevation guys were running so much boost on av... Im pretty happy with 12# at my elevation... Just want the low end snap back. Been trying to clutch it away but not gettting very far.
