What's the snow condition at Halfway?

How are the snow conditions down there? Are they effected by the Pineapple Express we are getting in Washington?

Hi Bob,
Well I bet it's the same as everwhere else. I should of ask Kevin the other night when I called him, but we were talking about his sled instead. We are heading that way Friday night regardless the conditions. I keep asking the snow gods, just one night, pleeesssaaa....

Probably go anywhere snow, maybe some soft in the trees above fishlake. Everything lower could be concrete.! Bring scratchers but the bright side is weather showing major sunshine. So basically spring riding!

WHOA 50 degrees up on the mountain today Bring the lotion and the swim wear, streams will be opening up, resevoirs may have some open holes showing up this week end , cornices may be coming down, be careful!

It was hero snow up there. The sun was out and it was like spring riding. The snow on the North slopes were more enjoyable to ride, it was soft, now on the the South side.... icy and hardpack! According to the 10 day forecast we should be seeing snow by the end of the week. So do some kind of a snow dance, and hopefully your wife will understand.

IT'S SNOWING

Halfway is getting snow. it's dumping about an inch an hour in town and Schnieder Meadows Snotel shows 18 inches of new snow and that elevation is 5400 ft so Its my guess that Fish Lake has about 2 feet of new snow. This storm is suppose to continue thru tomorrow. We should have plenty by the weekend
