What's the one area you'd love to ride, but...

For the Idaho Wy guys, how about alaska Basin in the teton valley just south of Grand Targhee? 500+ Inches a year, ride to the base of the teton peaks, Was eye balling that are when I was riding Pinnacle last year.

Haha, thought the same thing today as I was going over the 35w bridge downtown, get a sled out on a big dump and you could run up the river if you need to get away from the cops quick lol
Yuo need to get back to Idaho ASAP.... Go stick your head in the freezer or something.

x2 w/new trout
Waaaay back before I was a responsible adult....
My brother and I started out riding around the white river campground after it was shut down for the season and after about 20 minutes we were bored to tears.
I kept riding up to the gate that closed off the road to "Sunrise", then turn around because I was chicken!
On about the 4th or 5th rout to the gate I said screw it and rode around it followed closely by my big brother.
It took us nearly 3 hours to break trail all the way up to the top with all the 10+ foot drifts in the switchbacks and such.
It was a beautiful, sunny day and when we finally got within visual distance from the lodge up top we stopped for lunch.
We never went any farther, fearing the fine for riding up there in the first place and not wanting to push our luck getting off the area of the parking lots or the roads.
The alpine grades were calling me though!
THAT is one ride I will never forget. The abandoned lodge in winter looked like something out of "The Shining" and Mt Rainier was SOOooo close and tempting.

Like I said, That was a long long time ago and I would not do that now knowing how it would give us all a bad name.

rainier

a couple of my friends and i were thinking about taking chinook over to wj for thurs dinner a few times:rolleyes:.It could be an epic adventure or pure hell from the restrooms at the top down the big hill. top box and 4 belt min, food for 3 days:D rent a cabin at the bottom of crystal mtn blvd. Just jokin ranger bob.

my two places would be the Mallard Larkins Pioneer area, that's south of the st. Joe River, and the Seven Devils Wilderness Area out of riggins, we go backpacking in the summer time up there, and i always think what it would be like to ride in there... hummm:confused:

Crooked Fork up Lolo Pass and Hoodoo out by Superior MT.

Isn't some of the Hoodoo open? Or is it the real good stuff that's closed?

I've seen some pics of some areas in Surveryor that I would love to ride once I have skills.

I'll also go with Glacier.

and believe it or not, there are some real fun looking areas off the lakes in Voyagers National Park in MN. Seen some no-no marks and stayed away, but yep there were some fun looking areas.

If it wasn't for wilderUSEless areas and spring road closures we'd practically never put the sleds away here in Colorado. Zirkel usless area here would be one for the deepest dry pow ever, Rawah would also kick azz. Most people are generally timid little faggy fag turds and scared of there own shadow, hence we have places they are scared ****less of, but the mountains are saying bring it on beotch, you can't touch me on your puny machine! Seems wrong not to go try and kick there azz!!

I'm guessing not many powder days and pretty flat terrain, but the looks on people's faces would be worth it.
