What is the deal with not being able to view more than 2 posts in any thread without being logged in? That is just plain stupid and obnoxious. I like to be able to come on here and look around and see if there is anything I want to post on and if so then I log in. Now you can't do that. You get a message that says you must be a registered user to veiw these posts.

WHY???????????????????????????????????????????????????
 
Just one more thing to have to do. What is the purpose of having to log in? Haven't ever had to do this in the last 12 or so years that I have been a member. Just makes absolutely no sense to me, as I am sure it doesn't make sense to others also.
 
6 Mods veiwed this thread within 15 minutes of it being posted and not 1 answer. I am not trying to start trouble, I am just wondering what the thought process is behind this?

Christopher. How about an answer since the mods evidently don't know.
 
log in, check box to remember you and you will never have to log in again. Problem solved?

That's what I do... I haven't had to take the time to log in in ages..... even if you do have to, what's a few extra seconds?

As for why, I couldn't tell ya.....
 
force people to become members. Members will be required to pay. The meager amount of people who are left that are willing to pay to play are going to put money in snowest owners pockets. There will be nowhere near as many members anymore. Advertisers will see that they are paying to advertise on a site that has nowhere near the members anymore and they will pull their ads. Snowest will be making less money in the long run.

So in a roundabout way, to answer your question, snowest doesn't want to be a website anymore, so they are forcing you to login. :D
 
i had a thread deleted in classified section offering a jersey? whats the deal with that???
no pic, nothing other than thread saying jerseys were available....
that being said, all for profit organizations who do not advertise on SW need to have any thread in classified section removed.

That was supposed to have been turned on last October.
We only just realized it hadn't been done this last weekend.

You have a free account, the owners of the site would prefer that you use your account when browsing the site.

The ownership of this site would prefer that you not advertise those products on their forum.

Please feel free to peddle your wares anywhere else on the internet.

Now i'm told, even though you post within SW rules, that doesnt quite mean you can still post...
Also, SW can delete whatever they want because it's a private site. Rules dont mean anything.
Careful what the public members post on the private site
