What's the best sounding sled?

heheh

Big triples on pipes, and turbo Apex's. Also love the high pitched shriek of the Mountain max 700's -you can hear them 3 valleys away!

There isn't a 4 stroke out there that has a good sound unless it's in a F-1 car.

As for sleds, I would think the 98 era Polaris twin had a great sound for stock sled. A bit loud though.

Dont laugh but for a stock sled, my neighbor once had about a 95xlt that was stock pipe and that thing was one of the sweetest sounding stock sleds i have ever heard. As far as aftermarket i would say anything triple.

My dads CMX twin 1080 psi with stingers!!! That thing makes you go deaf for a minute when it wheelies by you.

I have the sound out a Mountain Max with Power Inc. pipes etched into my brain. If you've ever ridden Shady Pass near Entiat, WA I watched that sled climb out of the burn. That entire giant bowl was filled with that sound. It's one of the reasons I'm still hooked. Turbo Yami's sound pretty good too. :D

Even with stock pipes it's hard to beat the sound of those old MM 700 triples.

I had an old RXL (Poo) 650 triple and it sounded good but my buddy's mm 700 always sounded "Meaner" !

Back in the day when we raced real mod sleds, The speedwerx 730 twin sounded so dam good, Instant RPMs. The 175hp in a 410 pound short track probably makes me alittle buyest though. I never owned one but the 800 twin Xp race sleds sounds pretty dam good as well.
