Whats new from doo??????????

Talked to a ski doo rep and he said they are possibly leaning toward more carbon fiber on the skid and A arms to cut the weight some more. Thats really all he said. but should be some more problem solving fixs i'm sure..

My prediction:

Because of the economy and PILES of left over 08/09 sleds. 2010 will be featuring stripped down cheaper sleds on the exact same platforms. IE: Polaris Shift.

NOBODY is going to spend the money re-tooling factories and taking chances right now.

I hear they have upgraded to a new primary clutch held on by safety pins for easy removal to keep up with the frequent servicing it requires. It vibrates a little more but there's an aftermarket damper you can buy to fix that.

LMAO but owe so true...kinda!!! The polaris looks kinda cool. Can you say XP headlights?? LOL Couple days and we will see it i guess.

My guess would be 1200HO and possibly a 800ETEC. To change a block to an ETEC Looks like not much more than a simple top end swap and most controls should be similar. 1200 internals are way too beefy for a 135HP engine...there's alot more potential than what they are showing

Gee, that looks a lot like a Rev XP to me. Well whadaya know? Polaris went and made a Rev clone again!

And BTW, that sled looks GAY as AIDS!!
If I remember correct that is what all the guys said about the 2003 REV with the dove tail rearend...look where that sled took us...Hope it works out, but there are far to many great after market skids for that to be the future of mountains sleds suspensions

Wow

Good for Polaris, they finally build a chassis that works and now it is already time to screw it up. I guess that is what you have to DOO to keep up. Cat is in need for a platform change more than anyone else, they have got a lot of years out of the M but it is time. I can see EFI for the Xp and maybe another handful of clutching and a pinch more weight reduction.
