What's it worth

my buddy has a 01 800, 144", bone stock, pretty good condition, BUT needs a top end on each side. Track is in good shape, don't see it needing any repairs other then top end.

so whats it worth?

worth fixing to sell or sell as is?

a grand would be a stretch, there is always something lurking in there waiting to eat all your money (crank). thats a $2k sled in perfect shape, i would part it out

I have another buddy who is interested in it as is, grand is what I was thinking.

It only has 3k on it...

I bet your lucky to get 800 out of it as is and a grand with the top end fixed. Sorry but these old generation sleds just arent worth anything anymore. It sucks I know. I have an 03 for parts thats just not worth the dump fee really.

Thanks for that. It surely is a older sled. People seem to be asking around/near 2k for stockers and just over 2k for nice well set up ones that is for the 2000+ gen 2's not the older ones.
