Whats everybody's thoughts on this sled?

Super cool sled for the right person! The price is nice!

Propane is not for the everyone.

What's wrong with propane? Not being a smart *** just wondering what the draw backs are other than the fact you can't borrow a jerrycans of fuel off someone in the parking lot.

VERY front heavy (propane setup feels way heavier than any of my 1000's I've owned), the fuel tanks sticking out the back are awkward, needs 2 psi more boost to make same power as gas, and a pain in the butt to deal with fueling. There are upsides though for sure (like running big boost on CHEAP fuel), but you just asked for the drawbacks.



Mike, I'd just talk the guy down a ways & go with it. Solid motor, good sled that appears to be set up well... just don't pay what he's asking, as nobody else will.

Propane is a pain from what I know. You have to have a filling station of some sort in your huge enclosed trailer, your not going to do propane if you have a small trailer or open place or sled bed.

I've had a great experience with the M1000. If you are considering an M1000, I've copied the link to one of my personal sleds. It would be difficult finding a cleaner sled. This sled runs excellent and has been well cared for.

For not much more you could buy a used pro, that is way to much for a used m1. I bought a used m1 3 years ago that was clean, 1k miles and with an ez ryde for 4,200, in WA actually. I didn't have any complaints with the weight but was not impressed with the power, I think it was the reflash causing it tho.

propane is like 130-Octane

should be big power on that high of Octane. should be able to run up to maybe 16 lbs of boost with propane. I'm thinking at 16 psi you could crank out about 290-300HP. That's a lot of sled for the $$$.
