What's a used AR worth?

pretty much what MPS said, is it the m4 style with collapsible butt stock, who is the manufacturer, does it have a fixed stock, roughly how 'used' is it? is it a heavy barrel, accurized? any accessories?

Brand new never fired, DPMS flat top with adjustable stock. I was thinking about $850 before I knew anything about it.

I paid $999 plus tax for a DPMS A2AP4 brand new. Was a decent deal at the time. Prices have come down a little lately. My opinion is $850 is right in the hunt.
