Whats a good deal on an 08 M8?

I have been trying to determine if I should get an 08 M8 or an 08 XP. I have found both with low miles for 6300. Is that a good deal for the M8. The M8's blue book for 6600. What would you offer on one? Also, any stories of M8 owners killing XP's would help me decide as well.

From what ive seen and ridden with, the 08 XP is a better sled. They are harder to ride if you are used to anything else, but its just a learning curve. I, personally am not an XP fan, but If you are comparing 08 the XP, in my opinion is a runner. If you are comparing 09, Id go with the Cat. Take it for what it is worth from a D8 rider

How did that D8 work for you? our buddy had one that only made it out for a few rides it was in the shop so dam much.

Mine had the midrange burndown, but other than that it ran good last winter. The SLP twins were a little tough at times but I got'r dialed.

Can anyone else comment on the price that these sleds are going for? Also, has anyone compared the float from a rev 151 to AC 153? I hope the AC has as much traction even thought the footprint is smaller

I'd say thats a decent price for the 2008....I've got an 09 M8 with around 350 miles and think its worth around $7300. I've got an 08 Crossfire 800/sno pro with a 2" Challenger and 141" track that I'd like to sell for $6400....so you're probably on a decent deal

the 08 m8 153 will not run with a well tuned 08 xp 154 in the deep pow the 09 m8 will beat the xp. the m8 is way more reliable. I would not get a 08 xp. It would be worth the money to spend 7500 on a 09 m8 compared to 6000 for a 08, if you can come up with it.

Between the 08 M8 and the xp I say get the XP, however, if you can spend a little more and get the 09 M8 than I would buy one of those.

If you want a reliable sled buy the M8 and i agree with what was said above try to get the extra cash for the 09 M8 comes with electronic reverse and powerclaw track

My 08 XP will spank my 07 M8 stock in a deep powder climb, but does has many down falls. I agree with all the replys above.

Go with an 09 M8!
