What's a 1984 Sno Scoot worth?

Found a 1984 Sno Scoot 80cc, non electric start, been sitting for 5 years, looks to be in good shape, the owner wants to sell but does not know what to ask for it. Yamaha shop here says they will give him $250 if he trades it in. What is a fair price to offer?

They only made sno scoots form 88-90 if the track is good and it runs and no rips in seat etc it is worth up to 1500.00

they sell in good shape on ebay all day long at about 1500....ive seen ones with bad motors go for 1000
