What years engines will substitute in an '04 rev

I've got an '04 rev with a shot crankcase and jug. Kinda thinkin' I'll look for a take out from another sled. Found one from an '03 that sounds pretty good. Will it fit in? Is it the same engine? If not, what other year models can I look for that will work even if they have minor differences?

'03-'05 will work. They are all H.O. engines those years. The '06 is a ptek and the '07 is the R engine.

06 is the same short block as 03-05, only difference is the rave valves.

The 07 HO is also the same short block and the 05 Renegade was a P-tek.
