If u bought sled parts from a dealer not online and u opened up the package and there was a broken part inside (its kinda an odd ball kinda thing).
Well i talked to the dealer again and told him that this part is broken right out of the bag and he starts telling me where I can buy new parts to replace them. Then i ask if he can get me a new part "well then I will have to open up a new bag and some one else will be short a peace". WHAT WOULD U DO?:argue::argue::nono:

send the whole part back including the good parts and tell him to send me the correct parts not broken, if he cannot or is unwilling ask for a refund including your shipping back to him.....

if he refuses to make it right, i would let him/her know you will make your dissatisfaction well known within the sledding community........

i would only give them one chance, and i would let them know this..
 
You are talking to a dealer in person? I would tell him to either replace the part or refund my money. If that was the only one of whatever that he had on hand or he doesn't have a good way to get you another one then you will have to get a refund and go somewhere else for the part.
 
I guess it would depend if you needed to steal the part from another guys package of parts so he would be short too just to make someone else happy just so you would piss off another guy that is coming to get his parts to have a shorted package. If the dealer had extra stock I would just give him what he needed to get him on his way and replace what is needed after.
 
If a dealer told me where to buy a replacement part in your situation I would say "Great, you know where to buy it, so go get it i didn't pay for broken peaces".
