Go on the offensive position to open wilderness land? Seems like launching an offensive would be the best defense. Put them on there heels for once. I've about had it with this land closure deal and feel they should stay out of our backyard!

You would have to do the same thing the greenies did to get it closed only in reverse.
Back in the 60's and 70's is when the green movement was started. It was started by a relatively small group that called attention to itself thru radical action, tieing themselves to trees, nuclear plants, etc...

It would take the same kind of action to re-open the land.
You would have to make it so apparently clear that you wouldn't accept anything short of getting the land back that the state and feds HAD to pay attention and make consetions.

It would take guys and gals willing to go to jail and lose everything to make it happen.
You would have to ride the wilderness and off limits areas knowing full well you would be caught, you sled stolen by the feds and massive fines/jail time. If you make it so abuntently clear that they can't stop the people from going in, then and only then will they start to deal with us from a friendly standpoint.

Currently we just yell and hollar but we don't really do anything because for the most part, sledders are law abiding people and both the greenies and their bought and paid for politicians know this.

My opinion anyway.
take it for what's it worth.
