I was wondering what a 2012 M1100T 162 would weigh if you did a carbon fibre tunnel, tank, hood, belt drive, cats vented side panels, Timbersled rear skid, light weight battery, different front suspension, light weight seat???

Has any one built one yet?
How did it turn out?

If we get enough interest in making a full carbon fiber body panel kit we will make one. It would be next year, but if the interest is there we will. I would guess that the body panels, hood, fenders, dash could save 15-25 lbs.

Did some one say carbon fiber lol

I know everyone knows me as the Evo power guy but White Knuckle does more cf Cats than anyone, upwards a dozen various cf builds over summer till now. Hell the molds were pulled off an 1100 we had. The m1100 and m8 are the same parts and we've done numerous 100lb weight loss builds. The only difference really is there is no oil delete to be done, but there is a reverse to delete so the builds are very similar in loss. We took 70lbs out of an 1100 last year and never did tunnel, belt drive, or seat. 100lbs is reality. I haven't even put my demo to snow yet and I have already started next years build in my head. It starts with "car" and ends in "ber".....plus a bump in hp lol.

My carbon 800 was to be an 1100 and we had the calculate wieight loss at 110lbs. We can build a M1100 carbon sled to about 450lbs dry, of there is a very high cost associated with that.

Not sure I need to get it down to 450 lbs dry but lossing 100 lbs should be good.
What would it weigh if it lost 100lbs???
I would like to talk to you guys at White Knuckle.
I ordered the carbon fiber hood from C3 power sports, and I have the timber sled rear skid in my shop

It would be great to have an ala carte list of the various weight loss mods. What does it cost to lose 70LBS? 100LBS?
