What will fit from 09 Dragon to 11 Pro RMK

stay tuned

Will my Exit front shocks fit? Will my SLP high compression head fit. How about Carl's secondary set up? I know the challenger track will.

Head on the 2011 is the same as the update kit head as are the pistons. Front end geometry is the same on the Rush as the IQ, but there was some discussion on if the mounting points are higher on the front end requiring longer shocks. I did not measure them so I don't know for sure.

They are using the TEAM LW clutch so secondary is the same, although you may be able to use different clutching with the lighter chassis.

Track pitch is the same and a-arms are the same part number (from what I've heard). I'm hoping to keep my Evol shocks for the 2011 sled.

According to carl's the shocks are 1/2 inch longer on the 2011. bummer b/c i was hoping to use my float r's. guess not.

All the float shocks can be used and varied length suspensions. I use my evol X's on my RMK and on my race sled. Just bleed out all the air when you install them and they should work fine. Granted i ALWAYS get hte longest float as i know you can go shorter. I guess it IS possible that if you ordered yours in a 17.5" length, that it would not work if the suspension truly is 18.5.... But i don't see how it would affect ANYTHING. Your ski stance will be a shake longer and you might have to adjust your toe in a bit but IMO, dump the walkers and run a REAL shock!

Your thumb and your ***. Thats all you need to transfer over. Oh and maybe the keys are the same.

EDIT:
Corrections from what I've learned from the boys in Roseau last week.

The PRO-RMK shocks are about .30" longer than the IQ-RMK. 17.5 on the PRO, 17.2 on the IQ-RMK.

A-arms from IQ-RMKs... will fit but will need the new 2011 bushings. You will need to use the new upper and lower ball-joints. (It may be possible to fit a 10mm to the lower ball joint)

The Pro RMK Suspension and IQ-RMK will switch over between sleds... calibration of spring rates/pre-load/valving would need to be looked at. This is true for stock and aftermarket suspensions.

CORRECT PV!!!

Will the power commanders switch over? Or does the switch from a 4 injector set up to 2 make that not work?

The ECU and map are different... a new power commander will need to be used.

The Bulkhead castings are the same RUSH/Pro-RMK. The mounting points are in the same position and all 2009/10 front suspension parts will switch over with bushing changes, and upper and lower ball joint changes.

Aftermarket arms will be transferrable, but a different metric bushing will need to be used...the mfg of the arms will offer replacments from what I know (Holz, Timbersled, Z-Broz, Fabcraft, Alt impact)

The clutching is the same as sled_guy points out. The Demos we rode had the same clutching as the stock 2010 Dragons.

Although you can get a longer shock to fit, the ride height, transfer, steering effort, Camber and relative roll centers of the sled will be altered with a longer shock.

The Walkers on the new Pro RMK are a beautiful Heavy duty IFP shock with large shafts, good quality springs and excellent quality control. These have been well laid out for valving specs and work very well out of the box. I'd put the stock shocks on the Pro RMK just a notch up from the Zero-Pro Fox shocks and on par with a standard float.

Primary clutch and parts and clutch will swap over.

A timbersled suspension will swap over with a new fit kit.

Tracks will swap over.

Handle bars will swap over.

Seats and supports will swap over.

A Arms (with new bushings) will swap over. Spindles will swap but why?

Rear bumper kits will swap... but again, why.

Tunnel accessories will swap over.

Gears for the chaincase will swap.... but not the chain (new one is much shorter)

from the sneak peek last night, talking to a couple engineers there...

the bolt pattern of the head is the same, but the dome design might be different
crank dimensions are the same, but they are running a new stator, so that part of the crank is different.
pistons are different, said a 09/10 piston is different than the 11
cylinders obviously different from the new injection system.
they changed the spring cup design in the secondary, same weights and primary spring, he thought it was the same secondary setup
(the guy i was talkin his ear off was a rmk chassis engineer)
the a-arms are identical except for the metric parts as mentioned before
driveshaft is different

What about he 163" rails? The rear suspension is all new so i highly doubt it.
