I am running a 151 finger track at the moment but I want to get a powder track. What are the best tracks to run and what can I run? I have a 02 summit

This weekend is the first time I have gotten to see the new Powerclaw from Cat. It seemed to work awesome in every condition. That's the route I would go if you don't mind changing your drivers and spendeng more $$ on a track. I have a Maverick on my Skidoo and it works well in powder but seems to give up a little on the harder snow. So if you don't care about drag racing it would be a cheaper route. Drivers would still be necesarry.

That is a big reason I want to change it. It works great on the trails and when it warmed up it was a good track but in all this new pow it seems the really dig a hole compared to my Rmk wit a stock track.

if you want to save some money, grab some 3 pitch drivers and a 153 attack 20.

or a 153 cat camo take off, or a maverick 153, they are all gooders. just need 3 pitch drivers for em.

Power claw !!! end of discussion !!! That track is AMAZING in powder and GREAT everywhere else.

that sled wont turn a camo 2.5....duh!

for cheap, get a used skidoo 2.25 challenger take off track from an 06X or newer skidoo, dont get the camo lite...you might have to cut tunnel sliders to keep it from running

got to dootalk and ask this question in the ZX forum:beer;

I weigh about 185 with gear on and I sunk my sled twice on a little hill with some good pow. I think your right this is not much powder track.
Just my opinion though.

We got up into some big hills today and my little bro 6,3 about 190 was almost matching my high mark on a 136. even when he rode it he said you could feel it trenching even on packed hills. Also talked to a guy who was riding a mean AC up today said he rode with a finger track couple years ago same in put from him as well. Gotta change this track. Thanks for the input everyone.

Really, Maybe than you could explain to me how I managed ( along with 2 freinds ) to run 162x2.5" tracks on our 01 800 zx's. A little gearing and clutching and it will turn it just fine...duh!!!

The big question is On a budget what is the best track for the least amount and where to pick one up looking at something used.
