My father bought my mother a hot air Balloon ride a couple years back. It was one of those things she always wanted to do. Usually in another month or two they're all booked here for the summer. She took a video camera and had a great time. That was on the flat lands, can't imagine how cool it would be out west.

one thing is you didnt say how many years,,,,,,,,,,,the more you are married the easier it gets,we have been married 45 years now its down to just a nice dinner and a card.................one year I bought her a new chain saw..........She ran a large grounds maintance company ,,,,,,,,,,,,even in the early years I would do things not on special dates, just because I wanted to, that made the special days a little easier...................

If you want to have a big impact do what Ive been doing for years: along with whatever gift you decide to get her go to the card shop and get 2 cards. Pick out a great card that has a message that will connect with her and also buy one of those cards that are blank inside, then copy in your own handwriting the great message into the blank card. Pass it off as your own sentiment when you give it to her and you are definately getting some that night.
