What to buy?

Ok guys that time of year is just around the corner and I have a new set of riding gear on my wishlist. Let me know what your take is on these three I have narrowed it down to.

HMK Stealth Jacket and pant

Klim Valdez jacket and Extreme Bib (or Freeride pant not sure yet)

MotorFist Rekon jacket and bib.

Price isn't really an option just looking for some opinions especially if you have tried more then one of these before. Let me know what you think.

I've had jackets from all of the brands you mentioned before and still use both the klim free ride pant and the Togwotee Bibs. With that said this best jacket I've ever owned. Always dry and very tough

have an hmk stealth jacket and im not very impressed with it. the frist year it held up great the last year it starting to come apart and this year all the velcro is either torn out or lost its velcroness. purchased some klim Extreme bibs this year and so far i love them keep me dry and warm all day.

Have had my Klim jacket for 5 years, Klim bibs for 4 Klim gloves for 2 and they have held up great. Nice and dry at the end of the day...

I am thinking pretty hard about the free-ride pants also. Really like the looks of them. Just concerned about snow getting in above the waist.....what is everyones opinions that has pants vs bibs?

I hate pants, I am switching back to Bibs for the exact reason you said, sno getting in above the waist. Usually happens when you hop off to dig someone else out and it is that deep.

I had the same problems with my HMK Stealth Jacket. I think I'm going with a KLIM upgrade this season as a replacement. Still not 100% sure on the model.

Interesting on the HMK Stealth. I bought the hubby one last year (he loved the snow camo). Will have to keep an eye on it this year and see if we experience the same thing.

Those having issues with pants, do your jackets have the snow skirts (elastic waistband)? I love the pants, and that's what the hubby has too (Freerides for both of us, we've had them for years now). I've never experienced snow down the pants as my snow skirt negates that problem.

own and love the klim freeride pants. owned two pairs now. also own and love motorfist rekon jacket. very similar in quality.

So basically I can't really go wrong with either motorfist or klim then?
