Talked with forest service around lunch time today. Still logging M-F up above Beverly Campground. Thought they were supposed to be done like at the end of January. ????
Thanks for the info! Did they make it sound like sledding out of there on weekends was feasible or is it so torn up that the road is closed? Looking to head towards Long's Pass etc.
went up sunday, still logging M-F, you can drive all the way into camp wahoo, road was pretty thin coverage, couple open creeks, should be alot better now

The road is closed to wheeled vehicles, even on weekends. It was dirt for the first mile or so last weekend, and I was the only sucker who respected the closure. They should open it to cars on the weekends IMO as long as it's plowed. It was pretty good up there last weekend. Should be way better now.
BTW - Anybody else wonder where the grooming $ will go for the N Fork Road this season? I say apply it to Salmon la Sac and have them go an extra few weeks this spring.
