it is threaded on the inside as well. its an adjustable eyelet. it was on the can side under the brake rotor. for the life of me i cant see where it came from or what the heck is it for. seem like it would hold a spring or something...one that you can tighten. help a brotha out!! lol
and futher into the pre-ride inspection i found one of the rear heat exchanger clamps snapped off and missing! so glad i caught that one! make sure to check these guys, i have heard of a few of em being torn off!
