it is threaded on the inside as well. its an adjustable eyelet. it was on the can side under the brake rotor. for the life of me i cant see where it came from or what the heck is it for. seem like it would hold a spring or something...one that you can tighten. help a brotha out!! lol

and futher into the pre-ride inspection i found one of the rear heat exchanger clamps snapped off and missing! so glad i caught that one! make sure to check these guys, i have heard of a few of em being torn off!

that doesn't go to the oiler or throttle bodies does it. thats the only thing I could think of.

Looks like a cable wire eyelet that has yet to be used. (i.e. crimped). Woudnt worry much about it.

no its threaded. its not the crimp style. thats what i thought at first too. it looks like no one can answer this, so i am thinking it is not off my sled. i just have no idea how it got in there! thanks guys!

I found my old oiler and it doesn't go to it. I would throw it under the seat in case you need it.

Well, after a few drinks I"m thinkin maybe it fell off a tool on the assembly line and nobody went in after it? Seen that with screws and fasteners before....

Parts fall in from assembly line and they cant stop the line to find every little part.
