what temps?

Trail not hard packed, alot of use & little snow on top what temps should pro run? I try to get in as deep of snow as I can until we get to play area.
I was wondering what temps. should I start worring about motor? I also run scratchers down

I use my pro rmk 50/50. On loose trail with scratchers you shouldn't get over 125. Hard days 140 tops. 155-160 I start to worry. Sled goes into thermal protection 175-185 I believe.

also, varying the throttle and really dumping some fuel at it rather than just SLIGHTLY varying the throttle will help... when you get in any fresh at all RIP on that throttle and kick snow up into your heat exchangers.... if the trail is really hard packed and/or I can't really vary my throttle use I OFTEN have to stop and cool my sled down (even with full venting as well!!) And by really varying that throttle I don't mean just little blips.... I mean really rip on it for a little length of time too... not sure if it makes sense, feel free to PM me if you like too if that doesn't make sense...

temps listed above are right on...

Always use scratchers on the trail with the pro! These sleds simply don't cool well unless deep and fresh. Anything over 150 and I stop and cool it down. These 800's are finicky about being to hot/cold.

160 or over =

My '12 Pro never runs hotter than 135*F on very icy trails when using scratchers. In the powder, it is a consistent 125 +/- one or two degrees.

Done fishing. Let's go sledding !!
