What Should The Engine Compression Be on An 800 Powertek?

Whats considered "good" compression on an 06 800?

Im just wondering when to do the rings and was hoping to make it through the season.

RK Tech has a sweet drop in kit for that sled.

no he doesnt, hes got new fangled garbage, but if you can get an old kit from at least last year youll be good to go if you choose rkt. other wise youd be better off reringing your stock engine. stay away from spi pistons too, junk. stock pistons are the best quality, they just fall off on hp at 7900rpms but with some good cluting this doesnt matter.

Mine (stock) with 1200 miles at 3000ft was 155psi on both holes.

I have 2200 miles on mine . Its not pulling the same rpm it used to.

Im figuring the motor doesnt have the power to pull the clutch set up like it used to.

You don't need to go BB to turn that motor on. I had BJ doo a port job with reed spacers on my 06 and it's a whole new animal. Also did a clutch kit, WOW. And I didn't give up any reliabilty. Best of both worlds.
