i want to replace my factory shocks. anybody know what factory take off shocks will fit my rmk. any advice would be good

Whatever you get...you'll be waisting your money if they were not made for your machine...

17.20 in the front

Rears??

Many may disagree with me, but I put Walker Evans shocks from an '08? Dragon on my '06 900. Bought them off ebay for $250/pr. Had them charged to 225 psi and ran them for 2 1/2 seasons with no issues. Worked great for the riding I do. They were still on the sled and in good shape when I sold it this spring.

Rears off of any edge RMK from 01 on will work as well as all the IQ RMKs.

If they are rebuildable snowcheck shocks you'll probably find that you can get new Fox Zero Pros from some place like Carl's for the same money and they will be valved to your riding style and machine.

I put Walker Evans Air shocks on mine, Worked real nice! Fox Floats i heard where pretty nice on 900's as well.

DO NOT BUY WALKER EVAN AIR SHOCKS....... THEY SUCK:face-icon-small-sad THEY LOWER THE SLED AND WHEN THEY BLOW THEY ARE DONE NO COIL OVER TO GET YOU OUT:face-icon-small-con

Yeah, running them three seasons with ZERO issues. I love them. But thats just me, some people hate the 900's because they had bad luck with them, that doesn't mean they are all bad.

i loved my 900 had everything done to it, long tracked it full dynoport pipe can bonedocker timbersled intake ect ect ect i bought the walker evans air shocks off a 2010 rode them 3 weeks blew out worst 45 mi trip back ever........ like i said when it blows out there is no spring to atleast limp out wood, you are just bottomed out........i got a pair of fox zero pros of a 04 f7 sno pro with remote ressy on it and it was night and day. i like i said it raised front end like a 1in 1.5 great off and on trail. just my exp on this sled with shock:face-icon-small-hap

Mine is currently sitting on a pair of WE air's also... got to ride it twice before the end of the season and those coupled with a sway bar made it a much more powder friendly sled compared to the stock rebuildable Ryde FX's with Zbroz triple rate springs and no sway bar. Took a few trips to WE to get them set right, no shock expert by any means by the sled only drops about 3/4" when letting it down off the jacks and for the kind of riding I do I like it so far. Can't wait to get more time on them. I put them on "in excellent condition" and they basically bottomed out sitting in the garage, put them on a Gen II mod I have and same thing, sent them to WE and they set them up to '10 specs, still dropped a couple inches and just sagged when any load was put on them. Talked to a few people about them and called up John (if I remember right) at WE and he did some work and now they feel a lot better.

If they don't work, I'll be slapping on a set of WE needle shocks.

Most IQ shocks will fit some are a tad longer but still fit and work. Upgrade to a rebuildable regardless!

I think I see the problem, you have a fusion...Dragon WE shocks are made for totally different riding.

06-07 Switchback came stock with Zero Pro's front and rear. The rears are bolt in for rmk. The front ones are bolt in but are about an just under and inch longer than stock for rmk.
