What protective vest to buy??

So looking at a vest and cant decide on Klim, Bware, or the good ol tek vest. I noticed that polaris sells one also. Pros and cons??? Thanks

I have the KLIM. It's comfortable, fits under my coat well and it does the job that I need it to.

I have a Bware. Seems a little bulky. I think I would try Klim next time. I do however think Bware has the best protection. I guess you have to weigh comfort and style vs. ultimate protection.

Klim (And polaris) are just rebranded tekvests... .save the $ and go with a tekvest-brand tekvest.... That's what I ride with...don't ride without it... saved me from some pretty nasty wrecks. Worth every cent.

I wear an armadillo skin, a little bulky but a great conversation piece.

I wear a Tek Vest, and my daughter rides with a Bwear vest. I think the key is to try them on and find what fits you best, and then make a commitment to wear it every time you ride. It takes about one ride to get comfortable in them.

First ride out after getting one for my daughter, she used it. Early snow and stumps lead to a seriously quick stop! We are both believers in them. I got the Bwear at the SLC snowshow and met Rob and his staff. They were very helpful and showed us all of the features in their product.

The bottom line is all the protective gear in the world wont help if you dont wear it. Be smart and be safe.

B-Wear here and I like it. It's pretty warm on the spring days though.
