What pressure to run in mtn tamer rear skid

I have a pre 2010 mtn tamer rear skid with fox floats on an 09 t-nytro running 12lbs of boost. just wondering what front and rear pressures you guys are running and how your limiter strap is adjusted im having a tough time keeping the sled from going vertical anytime i really start to dig on a steep pull. thanks.

Your shock pressures will depend on your weight but to keep the skis down you should tighten the limiter strap and or add a shim to the bottom of the rear suspension arm to get it to couple sooner. I had to play with mine to get it where I like it on my Apex.

150 psi rear, 60 in front, all shims in, and have limiters sucked up pretty tight.. The guide lines he sends with kit are a good starting point.. Im running 18 lbs boost keeps skis planted well on most climbs

I agree. The intructions that Timbersled provides for cross shaft position, pressures, and shims worked well for my sled. I am running 9 psi boost. Front shock in forward position at 60 psi and rear shock in back position at 150 psi.

Yup.. I forgot about the shaft positions im running them in the forward holes on both shafts..

If you have to run 150 psi on the rear, you may want to drill a new hole on the rear mount at the rails. Move it forward about an inch and you should only have to run about 100-120. I had to do this...makes for a better ride with less air
