I was informed that a BR9ECS-5 should be used for model year 2002 thru 2007. I tried the BR9ECS-5 and the sled ran like poo, didn't even idle!! The sled came with BR9ES and runs like a top. ANy comments or suggestions please:confused:

If you hold an ES and a ECS side by side the ES is a much longer plug so I was scared to run the ES's because of piston-to-plug clearance. Mine seems to run awesome with the ECS's except for horrible fuel milage.

Gap Difference

Also the BCR9ECS has a .31 gap and The BCR9ES-5 has a .18 Gap. Your engine label under the hood should state wich is the correct plug for your sled. We were accidently running the -5 in a few 800 x's and they loaded up real bad. Since going back to the BR9ECS no issues.
