Askin for a buddy of mine. Is there any difference that anyone has noticed? MBRP? DynoPort? SLP? Thanks guys...

i dont know what other think but i liked my cpi pipe and cpi can the can sounded realy nice (i thought) as there can is 2 little cans so it has a very distinct sound, as for power i did notice a difference when putting it on and i never had a problem with it. also this was on a 2005 rev 800

Stock pipe! Just add a can. That is just for weight and sound not perfor
PHP:
mance.
Aftermarket pipe won't give you anything over stock without proper porting to match.

I concur. I've got to run aftermarket pipes on my sleds and was blessed to get them on the dyno too. Both my sleds are back to stock pipe and I don't ever have to worry about it being too tight or rpm loss due to the pipe.

stock pipe + lite muffler + cylinder head + clutching to extract the power = big bang for buck.
