What? No reports from Haydays yet?

Thunderstruck premiere was pretty fun for the short time I was there.

Haydays was dissappointing.... I might take my dirty underwear there next year and try to sell it. Some of the junk and non-snowmobile related crap that was there blew my mind. The event has gone downhill big time in the last couple years. I bought a video, 5 beers and a bag of mini donuts and thats about it...:(

did you see the guy that was selling all the hub caps? i didn't find what i was lokkin for and walked out empty handed. me and my 7yr old enjoyed quads and the sleds doing back flips

I thought it was a good showing and very well organized. The place was packed on Saturday. If you were looking for anything newer, there wasn't much of a selection. Didn't think people were buying much, no sleds were moving. We walked the entire grounds and were out of there by 2 o'clock. The hub cap guy is the one that made me shake my head and the family that was having a garage sale with all the kids used hockey gear and toys.

Arctic Cat had the best display IMO. HMK had good pricing. Didn't see Black Diamond there.

Picked up a probe for $10 and a new jacket.

There will be some pissed off people in 2009 since swappers will need to register on-line before showing up. Still sounds like they will be moving to North Branch in the future.

My S.O.'s birthday this wwekend. She sled's too, but we decided to have a nice weekend to ourselves. Maybe I'll get t Haydays next year. I'll save up some smelly sweat socks for sale.

How's the Diesel gig goin' for ya?

I got some skis... they should check that stuff before they can bring it in to sell, what a joke. 40% sled stuff 60% junk

First year there for me. I thought it was pretty good but there was a lot of junk there and non related snowmobile stuff imo. Found what i needed, a front bumper and a couple movies.

well ive been going to hayday as long as i can remember"wooden bridge days" and i have to say this year was great. I sold out and then i found all the stuff i was looking for but i knew what vendors were going to be ther and i new what i wanted, not a big deal on the new stuff save a little on shipping and few bucks to boot!! great year!!

I filled a huge list this year!

It was good this year from being a vendor in terms of communication with people interested in the product. Couldn't say a word about anything going on any where else though.

As for the junk in swap meet. It's always been like that, it's just the real good stuff is harder to find making the junk look that much larger.
