Any of the furnaces for RVs will work, but I would go with a 35 to 40K furnace.

I put a Suburban 30,000 BTU RV furnace in my trailer. Works great & you can add ducting. For a 28ft trailer I would go up to a 35 or 40k btu.

Just doing some research, would a radiant garage heater be better?

If its a catalytic type, kind of. The bad thing with these types, and the ones that aren't safe for inclosed areas are they put out a ton of moisture and use up the O2 in the trailer.

There's a couple of threads about this in the Truck/Trailer section.

I have thought about heating a trailer as well. What do you do with all the water after a sled thaws? Does it evaporate?

Does not evaporate enough to deal with all the water.

You can search for the 1,000's of sled deck discussions on this site because of the carbide runners cutting and water damaging the floor & sub floor of a trailer.

Need to waterproof the deck.

Is this your first enclosed trailer?
