What kind of tunnel bag?

What are you guys running? I purchased a Burandt lock and ride flyer (against my own better judgement), and the bag itself is nice. But the mounting parts are crap. Snapped a tunnel post and stripped another, so the bag is headed bag to Polaris. You would think maybe they would use something other than the cheap aluminum tunnel posts. Steel would be nice. And it seems like bag would slide around like crazy, which I have read before. Think it could easily be fixed with possibly adding a spring between grommet and washer. Either way I'm not buying another.

Looking at sled solutions e series or a mountain addiction bag. Anyone have any input on these??

I don't have experience on the mountain addiction bags, but I just picked up their gas can setup used on the forum here. It really is a nice setup. One time install on the tracks then you can slide on/off the bags or cans as you wish. You can also vary what items you take (two small gas cans, or a can and a bag, or a big bag, etc.) with ease. I thought they were pretty pricey for what they are and I obviously didn't pay new price for mine, but after seeing the setup, I think I would pay full price for new if I wanted a new bag.

I also am pretty impressed with my new burandt bag that they just came out with this year (I think it will fit an IQ). it keeps the bag off the tunnel and fits very secure and is water proof. My only regret on that one is I went with the small bag so as to not overload the tunnel but after having it, I kind of wish I would have went with the larger one.

Not so much in need of a can rack as pops usually carries around the cans for us, but the bags do look nice for sure. The price of the bag is the only concern.

Talking about the new burandt bag, is that the one with the hard outer shell on it? I seen them at a local dealer and it doesn't look too bad. The mounting almost looked the same though.

sled storage bags

Check out Powderkegs. They are hard shell polyurethane and have very sturdy quick release locks. Had the original one on my 08 Dragon. Now I bought the longer one for my 12 RMK. Never disappointed. High quality. Very durable. Solid mounting locks. Will last longer than your sled. I'd never buy another bag. The zippers always ice up.

Sled Solutions makes a well built bag, check it out

I do like the Elevation bag from them. Even for the compact bag setup your looking at over $200 with the hard mount kit.

I'm not so sure a normal mount kit will work with my rear bumper and be able to use straps without it interfering and my boot snagging it. Same goes with the mounting for the straps on that BCA bag either.

I have looked at them, but I'm not sure I'm willing to spend that much to be honest. They do like nice tho. I'm sure I'll learn my lesson about the zippers going with a different bag and tell myself why didn't I just listen, lol.

I have the BCA tunnel bag. Solid installation. Easy to take on and off. Price is right.

I do like this way this looks for sure but I'm not sure about the straps!

Maybe I'm being picky and cheap, idk.

i have 4 burandt bags in our group and they have held up well, with no problems with the mounting system , i wish they would put a felt liner on the bottom of the bag to prevent scuffing on the tunnel . i had a sled solutions underseat bag and really liked that also but it was a little small so i went to the flyer.

That's what I originally bought. Went to put it on, snapped a tunnel post and stripped another one. It's on it's way back to Polaris and I won't buy another. Posts need to be made of different material.

I use a sled solutions under seat bag with a portatack rack, they both work great. I love the portatack rack with the straps they sell with it!

I'm digging that port track compact rack. Looks nice and simple for 2 2.5cans. I'll have to remember that if I decide to throw a gas rack on the back!!

I like the Doo low profile bag and linq system..
Gonna put linq mounts on my Assault
So I can switch back and forth with my Xm
Downside is losing the gas can

Learning how to post pics so I figured I'd post a pic of my setup of underseat bag and the portatack rack!

I liked that guys beer can running board setup
Keeps em cold and at the ready. Hehehehe

Haha that was just doing a little work to the sled. I get thirsty :)

Mine's water proof.

I like that! I haven't bought anything yet at all. Not sure if I'm going to now, may just stick with my HMK backpack. Then again who knows.

Sent the Lock and Ride bag back, and of course I get hit for the $19 shipping and handling. Ain't my fault they make a **** *** product!!!!
