I am a Cat guy but helping my buddy with a top end on his 09 700. What kind of pistons work best in these motors? It is stock except for an SLP single pipe.

Thanks in advance,

John

Wiseco pistons are what we are seeing in our area.

Local Polaris dealer has been running the Wiseco pistons in their rental fleet 700s with great success.

7 - 2008' - 2009' 700 RMKs in their rental fleet.

Through the wear and tear of rental users, that puts them to the test!

I just Did the stock pistons. I have the Full SLP 700 - 2007-10 Polaris HO CFI Performance Edition Package And they told me to just run the stock stuff.

Wiseco is making a real good piston. nothing like the old days, I even have them in my big bores. With never an issue, I replace them every 1500 miles in both motors. My 09 has had wiseco's from the start in that big bore. plus they are a better price than OEM.

Hey guys,
I just put SPI dual ring pistons in my 08 700 rmk dragon, been told by people who have used them in the dragons a lot, and they have no problems with them.

I just rebuilt mine with wisecos (08 IQ 700). Price was pretty comparative to OEM. Have noticed some scuffing on intake side of the OEM. Nothing scored but scuffed up pretty good. Will see if the wisecos wear any better. OEM had about 1600 miles on.
